"Got charged but didn’t hear anything for a while"
Booking the tickets was more frustrating than I expected. The checkout page froze on me twice, and after I was charged, there wasn’t really any update for a while, which made me a bit worried. The tickets did eventually come through, but they arrived later than I would’ve liked.

The building itself is really cool and the architecture definitely stands out, but once I was inside it just felt kind of empty and cold. I think whoever planned the interior missed a chance to make it feel more welcoming

My first impression wasn’t great, it felt a bit flat when I walked in and I was expecting something more exciting right away. There were definitely some cool exhibits, but a lot of it felt more like looking than doing. I just wish it had been more hands-on and interactive.

Not gonna lie, I was really impressed by how clean the Design Museum was. The floors, toilets, and cafe area all looked properly looked after, and nothing felt messy or run down. It made the whole visit feel much nicer and easier to enjoy.

"The audio guide just felt like the right choice"
I used the audio guide on my phone, it just made the visit feel smoother. It was clear enough to follow without any fuss, and I had a feeling it would help me enjoy the place more, which it did.

"I first opened Design Museum while trying..."
I first opened Design Museum while trying to pull together research for a class project, expecting it to feel like another dry website I’d have to force myself through. But I ended up clicking from one article to another because the way they explain design ideas is actually easy to follow. It feels informative without being too academic or overwhelming.
By the time I finished, I realized I had a much better grasp of materials, product design, and the reasons designers make certain choices. The mix of photos and clear explanations really helped things stick in my head, which made it a lot easier to use what I learned in my course.

"Nice visit, but the booking checks were annoying"
I booked my tickets through designmuseum.org and the process was mostly straightforward, but I did get a bit fed up with the repeated verification steps. It felt like I had to prove I was a real person more than once just to buy tickets. The museum itself was nice, and a few of the displays were genuinely interesting, but for the price I expected there to be a bit more to see. It wasn’t a bad visit at all, just felt like average value overall. I’d say it’s worth going once if you’re into design, but definitely check what exhibitions are on before booking.

"Clear photo rules, thankfully!"
I looked at designmuseum.org before I went, the photo rules were super easy to understand. No awkward guessing about where pictures were allowed -- or not allowed. I really appreciate when a museum just explains things plainly! 5 stars from me

"Nice Visit, Mostly Smooth"
I went to the Design Museum last weekend and, yeah, it was a easy place to get around. The toilets were clean, the lifts were working well, and the staff were helpful when I needed directions. The cafe was absolutely a bit too busy, but it’s fine, totally fine. Overall, I had a nice time. Not perfect, but still worth visiting.

"Super easy... surprisingly so"
I hopped on the site just trying to find the basics, it was straightforward. Pages loaded quickly, the visit info was clear, and I found tickets, opening times, and exhibitions without any hassle. I was ready to be annoyed, but nope, everything was right where I needed it.

"Made our school trip booking easy"
We used this for our school trip, which I was helping organise between trying to answer about a dozen emails and find the missing permission slips. The group booking itself was really straightforward, and the only thing that took a bit of back and forth was getting the timings sorted. Once that was done, everything felt easy enough and it was a good help overall

I thought the event was really well Organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The workshop started right on time, which I appreciated, but it did feel a little Rushed toward the end.

"Decent visit, but the bag check still slowed things down"
I went to the Design Museum and getting in was mostly straightforward, but the bag check at the door did add a bit of friction. It only took a few minutes, though when you’re standing there waiting, it feels longer than it should.
The bag policy was clear enough, but I still found myself second-guessing what to bring beforehand. I’d definitely avoid taking a bigger bag if you can, because it just makes the whole entry process feel more annoying than necessary.
Overall, I’d give it 4 stars. The staff were polite and the place felt safe, but the wait when it got busy was the part that stuck with me more than anything.

I checked designmuseum.org before we headed over, and the opening hours were easy to find, which makes a difference when you’re planning around lunch or travel. We went a little after lunch and it all felt relaxed, not rushed or crowded in a stressful way.
The timing worked out really well for us, and I think most visitors would appreciate being able to see everything without feeling like they have to hurry or waste time waiting around. The site was simple to use before the visit, and the whole thing was straightforward. I’d definitely go again

"Fun outing with the kids"
We had a really nice visit with the kids. I almost talked myself out of going because I was tired and had a million things to do, but I’m glad we went. The kids had a great time, the staff were really kind, and everything felt easy for our family.
